Tammy Ewing, APRN, is a native of Miami, Florida. She has been a nurse for over fifteen years and has worked in various settings. She obtained her BSN from Florida International University and continued her studies at Florida Atlantic University in which she earned her MSN degree and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015.

Since then, she has worked in primary care and orthopedics. While being employed by FIU and working at the John Peavy Center at Miami Northwestern Senior High School, her passion for mental health was ignited and she realized the crucial need for mental health providers. She then obtained her Post Masters Certificate at FAU and became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2019.

Tammy embraces the patient centered care model and strives to be an advocate for those suffering with mental health conditions. Her personal philosophy is to provide care that is tailored to meet the unique needs of individual clients, promotes a caring therapeutic environment, and maintains a trusting provider and client relationship.
