Monica Brown, MSN, APRN, PMHNP, is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse
Practitioner. She is a wife and mother. She has been a nurse for over fifteen years and has
worked in various settings including substance abuse and behavioral health. She obtained her BSN from the great Bethune Cookman University and received her Masters at Nova Southeastern University.
She developed a passion for mental health in 2015 when working in substance abuse and realized how fascinating the brain works in many people. After spending time helping people with their medical and emotional problems, she realized this was her passion. Some of her practice specialties include the treatment of anxiety, depression, addictions, ADHD, bipolar, and schizophrenia. Monica has always enjoyed helping people and finds her work very rewarding.
She is qualified to diagnose mental health disorders, and prescribe medications across the lifespan. She considers herself a devoted professional, outgoing, passionate, and spirited individual with a sturdy desire to assist clients in care.
Monica hobbies include working out, dancing, and traveling.
