Lerae J Richardson
Lerae is board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She completed her
Bachelor of Science in nursing, cum laude at Kaplan University (Purdue Global
University) in 2011 and her Master of Science in nursing at South University in 2015.
She has been in the nursing field for 18 years and is currently working at
DRT Behavioral Services. She provides medication management for our office patients,
our skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.
In addition, she is currently an adjunct faculty clinical instructor for nursing students at
Miami Dade College. She believes in imparting her nursing knowledge and skills to
those learning the profession. She is active in several professional organizations
including American Nursing Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners,
Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, and National Black Nurses Association.
She is currently a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner student at Wilkes
University. Her anticipated graduation in August 2022.
Lerae resides in Pembroke Pines, FL and she enjoys listening to music, dancing, roller
skating, and she is an avid Miami Heat fan.
